چکیده

The search for an efficient drug or inhibitor in the formation process of kidney stones has been a promising research topic towards reducing risks disease. However, several challenges have faced investigating most common constituents stones, calcium oxalate and its hydrate forms (COM, COD COT). This study focuses on preparation structural characterization (TG, XRD, FTIR, SEM) hydrates presence gallic acid (GA) by varying operating parameters such as temperature (25 °C, 36.5 °C 48 °C), pH (5.6, 6.5 7.5) amount added GA (ranging from 100 mg to 1000 mg). Response surface methodology was applied order evaluate effects COM COD, optimization maximizing their content samples. results indicated that inhibited (0–100%) promoted (0 ≤ 99%), while medium showed significant effect formation. In investigate interactions established possible adsorption between formed crystals, electrochemical measurements were performed.

Reinjury risk of nano-calcium oxalate monohydrate and calcium oxalate dihydrate crystals on injured renal epithelial cells: aggravation of crystal adhesion and aggregation

BACKGROUND Renal epithelial cell injury facilitates crystal adhesion to cell surface and serves as a key step in renal stone formation. However, the effects of cell injury on the adhesion of nano-calcium oxalate crystals and the nano-crystal-induced reinjury risk of injured cells remain unclear. METHODS African green monkey renal epithelial (Vero) cells were injured with H2O2 to establish a c...

Effect of High Osmotic Pressure Milk Formula on Renal Calcium Oxalate Crystallization Induced by Calcium Oxalate

To study the effect of high osmotic pressure milk formula on renal calcium oxalate crystallization induced by calcium oxalate. 40 SD rats were randomly divided into four groups: NC, MC, LOM and HOM group. For model preparation, MC, LOM and HOM were treated with 1% Ethanediol in the water combined with 2% ammonium chloride (2ml/day) intragastrically administration. The rats in LOM and HOM were i...

Factors affecting calcium oxalate dihydrate fragmented calculi regrowth

BACKGROUND The use of extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) to treat calcium oxalate dihydrate (COD) renal calculi gives excellent fragmentation results. However, the retention of post-ESWL fragments within the kidney remains an important health problem. This study examined the effect of various urinary conditions and crystallization inhibitors on the regrowth of spontaneously-passed pos...
